Day 1 and 2 are spent in the capital city of the land of happy chaos getting amongst the colour and vibrancy balanced with a walk in the local hills.

Days 3 and 4 are based at The Last Resort a haven of calm and also a place to play - everything from grin inducing rafting.....to more gentle garden joys.
Trekking up in the sky
On Day 5 we begin our hike up, up and up out of the valley. Day 6 and 7 see us moving higher and higher along the ridge through ancient forests and meadows.

Our final day feels very alpine as we wend our way up and down the craggy peaks towards the Kali shrine. We descend a little to camp near Kuri village with the option to re-ascend in the early morning of Day 9 to join the pilgrims in puja and devotions. Take the cable car if you like!

Descending back to the valley (by jeep or on foot) we enjoy the comforts of the aptly named Panorama lodge. Get up early on Day 10 to see sunrise over the Himalaya before heading back through the hills and vales to Kathmandu.
